Setting a price on fine art is difficult. Especially when there are so many variables to consider. The pricing for gunstock carving takes into consideration 1.) wood type... 2.) intricacy of the pattern... 3.) carving time...
4.) how many panels to be carved... And 5.) refinishing time. Every carving is custom designed to fit your gunstock exactly. Some designs fit best on certain gunstocks. We will advise you to assist you in making these decisions. The following examples will give you an idea how we determine pricing:
Leaf patterns , leaves with seeds, oak leaves, and oak leaves with acorns:
These are smaller panels that usually fit on the grip of the gunstock. However, a small leaf collection looks really nice on the butt stock as well. These small panels carved in hard wood usually run approximately $99 per panel.

The carvings are custom designed to fit your gun. They may be designed to fit the forearm and the stock butt. These custom carvings on hard wood run approximately $150 per panel.

Basketweave, Basketweave with leaf pattern, and Scroll patterns :
Basketweave and scroll patterns are very intricate and have fine details. The time it takes to do these patterns is extensive, but as you can see, worth every hour. These patterns are custom detailed to fit your gun and in the position you desire. These custom carvings on hard wood stocks run approximate $300 per panel. (Note: we can only do basketweave on hard wood stocks.)
